Auriculotherapy
Auricular (ear) acupuncture is a very effective treatment option for all kinds of issues.
It's a quick and effective way to help re-set your nervous system, relieve pain, and diminish stress.

In addition to receiving auriculotherapy during an appointment, you also have the option to receive ear seeds,
ear tacks (a band-aid with a small needle), or have semi-permanent needles placed in the auricular points.
This allows you to stimulate the points and treat yourself, extending the benefits of treatment.

There are auricular protocols for a variety of complaints, including:
anxiety, insomnia, pain, substance detox, post-traumatic stress, and weight loss (just to name a few).

It is also possible to create a community-style auriculotherapy clinic off-site, in collaboration with Free Spirit. If you would like to find out more about setting up a clinic at your own facility, please contact Annette to find out how.

COMMUNITY WORK:

Annette is one of the National Coordinators for Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB),
in the Netherlands, as well as the Team Leader for AWB's Haarlem Mobile Clinic for Refugees.
AWB primarily creates opportunities for survivors of disasters and traumatic events to receive free,
community-style, auricular acupuncture treatments. The protocols used by AWB are used all over the world,
and have been shown to reduce violent incidents, ease symptoms of PTSD, manage stress, and care for traumatized and displaced persons. This method is used at refugee sites, disaster areas, jails, mental health care settings, and addiction centers, all to great effect.

We have already established several mobile clinics across the Netherlands, with more planned.

If you would like to collaborate on a clinic site with AWB, or send us a donation,
please contact Annette to find out how.

Thank you for your support!
