Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture techniques have been practiced for centuries, by those who want to rejuvenate the look and feel of their skin. It is a safe, effective, and natural method to reverse signs of aging, without experiencing the risks or side effects associated with surgery and injections. The use of natural medicine to combat the aging process means there's no risk of scarring, infection, or other negative physical reactions to chemicals or substances.

Cosmetic acupuncture treatments work by building collagen, toning muscles, improving circulation, and stimulating blood flow. Points stimulated during a treatment will also help optimize the way the rest of your body functions, including aiding your digestion, strengthening your immune system, and boosting your lymphatic system, which can lead to an overall decrease in puffiness, dark circles, and other signs of premature aging.

During a treatment, you can expect hair-thin needles to first be placed along your ears, inducing relaxation. Points on the rest of your body will then be added, according to your specific needs. Your body will be flooded with endorphins, leaving you with an overall sense of deep relaxation. At this time, additional needles are placed in specific points on the face, as well as in any wrinkles, creating a micro trauma to stimulate the collagen production that will "fill" the wrinkles in.

I originally trained in Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation in 2012 in the United States, and have been providing these sessions ever since. These treatments are recommended to be done in a series of 12 sessions. Statistically, this number of treatments elicits the best possible results for clients. Prices for cosmetic acupuncture treatments are slightly higher than your standard Follow-Up treatments, due to the additional skill, time, and special supplies required. It is possible to have sessions discounted, by purchasing a strippenkaart.
